With an initial goal of optical accuracy or “realism”, we teach you how to learn to see, how to handle materials and how to construct engaging works of art.

6-9pm Long Pose Figure Drawing (uninstructed) $200/month

 

TUESDAY

6-9pm  Adult Oil Painting class  $300/mo

 

WEDNESDAY

Afternoon Teen Classes

6-8pm  Drop-in Figure Drawing (uninstructed) $15 suggested donation

Drawing Sessions

We offer ongoing drop in life drawing sessions on Thursday nights for friends and family of the school. Studio and sessions are located in Asheville's beloved River Arts District.

Atelier Program

Asheville School of Art's core offering, aiming to teach the Foundational to Advanced skills of Drawing and Painting. Leading students through the various stages of a ‘Classical realist’ program from drawing through painting.
